[Rumor] Hasegawa Hiroki & Ishihara Satomi
I started shipping them in the weeeirddest way. It was last year when the cast of Attack on Titan was officially announced for the first time, I started shipping HiroSato.
I kinda ship Erwin and Hanji in Attack on Titan anime. When I assumed that Shikishima is a merge of Erwin and Levi (but I was wrong), and found out Ishihara Satomi will play Hanji in the live action, I was wondering why is it Satomi, her looks is too cute and too feminine to be Hanji. I made a prediction that they might include a hint of romance between Shikishima and Hanji, that's why they casted Satomi as Hanji, instead of the more tomboy type of actress. Of course I was wrong in the end, but I really liked the idea of Hiroki and Satomi as a romantic pair, even if it's just a tiny hint in the live action. And suddenly I started thinking that Hiroki and Satomi would make a cute couple in real life too. But Hiroki has been dating Suzuki Kyoka for five years, and they seem to be in very good terms, so I thought "Nah..." Then I stopped thinking of it.
Some days and weeks after, I read a rumor that Satomi is a co-star killer and she always act so close to men, in the article it was mentioned that during Attack on Titan filming, when Satomi talks to Hiroki, she tend to touch his arm and Hiroki seem to enjoy her touch either. But the articles doesn't stress on Satomi and Hiroki's affair, rather it's generally about how Satomi is generally liked by men.
When I saw clips of the movie's premiere greetings, I was a bit taken aback when I saw this view. "uhn!?"
But I had no thoughts at all about HiroSato pair anymore, so I just thought "Waa, Hiroki is such a gentleman..."

It says Hasegawa Hiroki and Suzuki Kyoka broke up, because Hiroki had an affair with Ishihara Satomi... and I was like "whaaaaatttt??? my fantasies came true???" lol. Suddenly, I'm loving the idea of HiroSato again. I have nothing against Kyoka, but I just think HiroSato might make a better couple. Kyoka is just as introvert as Hiroki, while Satomi is the cheerful and chirpy type, I just think HiroSato might be more of an interesting couple. Of course who believes in Tokyo Sports right? But I just like to amuse myself with the idea.
The article mentioned that Kyoka and Hiroki broke up in mid-July and they had live together for awhile, but suddenly Hiroki moved out in mid-July thus the article. HiroSato were seen talking to each other closely during Attack on Titan filmings. They get their faces really close to each other when they between filmings and they exchanged their LINE IDs and seems like they have also gone out for a meal once the filming is over. Although the article's writer is not sure whether they have become officially a couple or not, but this is most probably the reason why Kyoka and Hiroki broke up. One of the hairstylist in AoT filming is quite close to Kyoka and she told her about how HiroSato seems to be in close terms. Another article came out which says Kyoka and Hiroki didn't break up though, they were just taking a distance for a while.
Hiroki and Kyoka were seen having a vacation together in June this year, though. They didn't disguise themselves and people who spotted them said they looked like a married couple, and didn't seem to be bothered by the fact that many people recognize them. They simply nodded back with a smile when common people greeted them. So, I was quite surprised with the break-up news that came two months later. Hiroki was asked by the press about the truth of the break-up news in a few occasions, but he refused to make a comment.
I do think they are a nice couple, but I feel sad when I start thinking that Kyoka is 47 years old, it might be impossible for her to give birth to a child now, if they ever get married. I'm not sure whether Hiroki wants a child or not, he never talk about this in TV shows. But as a fan, I'd love to see him have a normal family with his own biological children. The thing is, they started dating when she was 42, if they were aware of marriage since the beginning, then I don't think they would've wait this long to get married. Hiroki would've propose her in the following year, no? Kyoka's biological time was already ticking, by then. Despite the fact they are rumored to get married every year since 2012, it never happens. I'm guessing one of them is not interested to get married, but most probably it's Kyoka herself. Or maybe Hiroki is as indecisive as Inagaki Goro XD
Okay, this is just purely my own assumption (or my own fanfic, you may say). If Hiroki is really indecisive about marrying Kyoka, then I'm thinking maybe his problem he really does want his own child but he cannot have that if he marries Kyoka but he doesn't have the courage to end things with her, partly maybe also because he still love her. Maybe he was really attracted to Satomi during Attack on Titan filming, maybe they really did have an affair, maybe he cheat on Kyoka, who knows? Then, Kyoka's hairstylist friend told her about this. But if any of this happens, then it must have happened last year, then I'm sure Hiroki decided to stay with Kyoka in the end, thus the June trip. So I'm guessing that if they really break up in the end, it's not because Kyoka is angry, but she might have think it over with a cool head. Maybe she wants him to be happy. Him attracted to another woman, is an opportunity for him to finally let herself go, and she made that happen. So I'm thinking they might have broke up in friendly terms, judging from the fact they just had a vacation trip in June.
This article came out like, almost two months before the Shin Godzilla cast announcement. I know some productions purposely spread rumors about the two main cast who will be playing together in a drama/movie, to boost its' popularity and use it as a media of promotion sometimes, but this is Godzilla... does it really need a cheap rumor to promote the movie, I wonder? lol.
But let's just say that HiroSato rumors were totally BS, then I'm wondering about the premiere greetings moment. None of the other actors hold the ladies' hands going down the stairs, maybe it's just Japanese men's character. Does this mean Hiroki is really a gentleman unlike most Japanese men who claims to be too shy to escort the ladies? If something really did happen between Hiroki and Satomi during filmings, Hiroki might've not offered his help at all? Or is it exactly because there's something between them, that Hiroki naturally stretched his arm to Satomi showing a sign of special attention/concern for her? I wonder, which is which? This really depends on Hasegawa Hiroki's personality and too bad I still don't know his personality well.
Well, if in the end, Hiroki choose Kyoka that's fine too, but I'm definitely shipping HiroSato for a while now.
Then comes the news of Shin Godzilla's main cast: Hasegawa Hiroki, Takenouchi Yutaka, Ishihara Satomi. Kyaaa~ Will they be a romantic pair this time!? I can't wait, but they're definitely the hero and heroine this time, yay! I hope their real-life romance develops on the filming set of Shin Godzilla which started in August and plans to wrap up by the end of October ♥♥♥
