My Most Anticipated Autumn SP Dramas 2015
Charlotte Kate Fox (American actress of the MASSAN fame) will be back in a SP drama "Detective Katherine!" The drama is based on a mystery novel and the main character is an American lady. Previous adaptations had the main characters changed into a guy, a Japanese woman or played by half Caucasian Japanese, this is the first adaptation that has a pure American lady to play the character, just as in the book. Can't wait! I think Tanihara Shosuke and Charlotte will make a great pair, in work and romance. I hope this will turn into a series of SP. The SP will air next week, September 5th!
Yoriko and Takumi are back in a SP sequel "DATE ~2015 Summer, Secret Hotspring~" airs September 28th! Kyaaaaaaaaaa~! Have been bombing FujiTV with sequel requests! Can't wait! But I'm worried the couple will separate at the end of the SP, just like Saikou no Rikon SP XD
Another autumn SP based on a mystery novel, this one's from Matsumoto Seicho's novel "Kyouhansha" (Accomplice) starring Mizuki Arisa and Yamamoto Koji, as murder accomplices, they worked together to kill Arisa's husband. Wow, what a story XD So that's why they came together to ShinTsuyo's play, apparently they were filming a drama together haha~ The SP will air on TV Tokyo, September 30th!
Another mystery novel based drama "Issenchou yen no Minoshirokin" (One Quadrillion yen Ransom) starring Katori Shingo that will air in autumn (probably October). The story is about Hiraoka Naoto (Shingo) who is not satisfied with the Japanese government that has budget deficit of 1,085 trillion yen. He planned a scheme to make a threat to the government by kidnapping the grand daughter (Honda Yui, 11 yrs old) of the former vice prime minister. He demand the Japanese government to pay him the same amount as the country's budget deficit or to make an official public apology to the whole nation. This drama is based on an award-winning novel by Yagi Keiichi, published in 2013. Can't wait!
LOL, the Ocean's 11 trio playing criminals in TV dramas. They're really meeting often this year though not always all three. ShingoKoji in OjaMAP episodes and movie "Galaxy Turnpike", ArisaKoji in SP drama, ShingoArisa in OjaMAP, I hope they will work together often forever^^ I love their friendship. Just wondering if Arisa's husband and Maki would be okay for ArisaKoji to stay friends and hang out together... or maybe they go double dates or something... nahh... Maki isn't the sociable type XD
