Such a beautiful moment ♥
Rather than "Shingo fell asleep on Nakai's back" I want to say "Nakai let Shingo sleep on his back" ♥
I dunno if it's just my imagination, but it looks like Nakai closing his eyes too.
I rarely see a brotherly love moment between Nakai and Shingo. Kimura-Shingo is more well-known as SMAP's "big brother-little brother" pair.
But that's what we see on screen. I have a feeling that Nakai-Shingo has more emotional attachment for each other that they rarely show or express on TV. When Shingo called Nakai "Hiro-chan" mistakenly in IiTomo two years ago, I established this theory. And then I remember in Leaders cross talk with Joshima and Sakamoto, he asked them "Katori-kun is the most loved one (kawaigareteiru) as he's the youngest, but it's like that in your groups too right? Nagase and Okada are loved by the others in your respective groups, right?" the other two were nodding, but not like, totally agreeing either. Nagase and Okada seems like the totally different type than Shingo, so I don't think Nakai can generalize the youngest member is the same type in all groups. MatsuJun is more mature than Ohno. Nagase and Okada seems to be the independent type. While, Shingo is the clingy type in SMAP (physically and mentally). He always try to get other SMAP members' attention. Cling on them. Pulling the end of their jacket and/or shirts. That's why the "older brothers" just can't leave him alone and let him cling on them. That's why they spoiled Shingo. I think the fact that Shingo always show them how much he need them makes the others feel happy as well. They feel happy that Shingo need them.
Another example of clingy-Shingo, lol.
They were just waiting for the recording to start, and.... plomp!
Hahaha.... nani koreee.... Shingooo... you totally didn't hate Goro, did you! I always thought Shingo hate Goro since the beginning and they only have a love and hate relationship in the last 10-15 years.
I was wrong. They have love-hate relationship since the very beginning XD
(the fans went 'gyaaa' that the other members turned around a bit to see what happened, but then they looked away again without any change of expression, like ShinGoro's an-inch-away-faces is their everyday, every hour view, lol)
Shingo tte... SMAP complex kana...? It's like a 'mother-complex'... all toddlers have 'mother-complex' symptoms though... it's a period when a mother is the toddler's whole world... for a baby/toddler/child, their world only revolves around their mother. It is when the symptoms stays till the baby become an adult, that it's called 'mother complex' I think.
I was a 'father-complex' ... couldn't stay away from my dad when I was a toddler.
Yamamoto Koji, Shingo's self-acclaimed "10years best friend"(LOL!) said Shingo speaks in 'keigo' (polite language) to everyone, including to Koji himself. I never paid attention, but I become aware of the way Shingo speak since then. It's true. Keigo is usually used to older people or strangers in Japan. But Shingo speaks 'keigo' even to his juniors, people younger than him, even long-time acquainted co-stars.
However... Shingo doesn't speak 'keigo' with SMAP members. He never speak 'keigo' with them. Just the normal tameguchi, with a lot of "ne"
Like in the recent Tamori corner in 27hrs TV, when he wanted to wake Nakai up, "Jya... okosu ne (let's wake him up)..." he said to Takuya.
Of course, he doesn't speak 'keigo' with Mizuki Arisa too, but that's a whole another story.
Shingo never make friends with celebrities. Then he speaks 'keigo' to everyone.
All of these made me think, Shingo is not comfortable with the entertainment world and maybe he prefer a normal, common life?
But then, when he was asked about SMAP disband, what he said in FNS27 Wide na Show, strucked me, "I never know other world besides the entertainment world. I've been here since I was a child, I was raised and grew up here."
Does this mean he love the entertainment world and would never think of changing jobs?
Like, he love being in the entertainment world and has no other place to go?
It's really contradicting to the fact that he doesn't make friends with celebrities and always keep a distance with them.
But if it means he love being in the entertainment world because that's where SMAP exists. It makes sense.
This means he's building a wall and barrier and never step outside of the SMAP boundary. This means, in terms of "in the entertainment world", Shingo's world revolves only around SMAP. SMAP means the world for Shingo. He never open his heart for other celebrities except SMAP. Does this mean SMAP means too big and too important for him that he don't have any space left or doesn't want to make space for more celebrity friends?
I wonder if it's the same for Mori. He's really good friends with his fellow racers and yet he said "SMAP. I have no other friends besides the five of you." and Mori is not the type who lies, he's bad at lying. I'm sure there's a special meaning to it and that the sentence cannot be read just as it is, like that. It implies something.
The story when all five SMAP members attend the wedding of their SMAPxSMAP make-up artist. They didn't mingle. They couldn't mingle. They ended up sticking together everywhere they go and although no table reserved specially for them and they could sit anywhere they want, they ended up sitting in the same table, having their meal in the same table. I think this story is a good symbolism of what's really going on inside them.
At the end of the day, I guess fans can only analyze and observe. Only SMAP themselves know how they feel for each other and what they mean to each other.
