Sword-fighting is one of my favorite genre. There were only two awesome sword-fighting series I've seen and both Chinese wuxia series. Great review yanie! The action sequences are great in general. The final showdown between Musashi and Kojiro was kind of disappointing. It went by way too fast. My favourite scene is also the one versus the robbers. And yes, Takuya should do more action stuff :)
I used the love wuxia series also (mostly from Jin Yong novels) even though I don't watch them anymore. In terms of plot , which series did you like best? My favourite is The Legend of the Condor Heroes followed by the Return of the Condor Heroes. Then it would be Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils. I haven't seen all the versions, only the old TVB ones from the 80 and 90's which are considered classics. I don't think there is anything comparable in terms of J-drama/taiga unfortunately (or what I've seen so far).
