Family or not...
So, like, we had dinner with one of my cousins.
Chilli Padi isn't half as bad for Peranakan cuisine, but it isn't half as good either. Nothing beats good old fashioned home cooking and cleaning up the mess thereafter.
Back to the family ish... This is one of the "Four Cousins" and she flew in from Canada a couple of weeks back. Her two daughters -- I can't bloody believe I'm an aunt -- are all at the school-going years, though a little small for their ages.
(Damn, I am that old already?!)
Anyway, how Canadian can one get? She gave us maple syrup... *rofl*
