The letter meme
This is how it works: Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter (if you want one; feel free to comment even if you don't want to play). Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.
speakr2customrs assigned the letter S to me. Seeing that he gave out an Z to another people, I think he went easy on me because of my Chinese mother-tongue and therefore a shortage of English words. Still have to open up a dictionary software though. Thank you anyway!
1. Storage. I. Am. A. Storage-ho. Period. I have about 1,000 CDs and DVDs. 500 comics in JPG format. 8 GB of e-books. And I haven't officially began to work yet...
2. Sleep. One of the most important things in daily life. Granted I'm constantly trying to steal time from it, have no success anyway.
3. Scary. There are many things are scary. Sitting in a car when my professor is driving is scary. Have to finish a 30,000 word paper which will decide if you can graduate with your degree is scary. Shopping with my mother is scary. Playing computer games with my cousins is scary. Well, real life is scary. But it's joyous and pretty, too.
PS. A visit to the dentist is waaaaaaaay beyond scary...owie, owie.
4. Safe. The best feeling in the world. In my dictionary it means don't have to worry about lose my job, short of money, have nothing to eat, bad traffic, get sick, can't graduate...and so on. Because it's such a great feeling, we seldom feel this way...
5. Scholar. What I want to be. But it seems have little possibility... I can settle to be an annoying know-it-all.
6. Shallow. Have to say, I'm a shallow girl. Won't fall asleep reading Shakespear (thank god), but prefer a good Spike fanfiction over it...
7. Sea. I'm in a seaside city. Which, as I've said in a post before, have five or six parks in which people can walk straight into the sea. And I studied in Dalian Maritime University for my bacheler degree. Pity that I'm not a boy, or I'll be a sailor! (Still don't know how to swim though...)
8. Serve. I'll be a civil servant very soon. Then I'll try to understand the old saying "I live to serve" better. Anyway, I'll get a pretty salary for it, too.
9. Snack. Best friend of girls. No matter if it's sweet or salty or spicey. Can't leave them.
10. Sick. I'm a sick, sick girl. XD I read slash and I like my pretty boys suffering. ^o^
