I always tell myself that I'm going to start writing in livejournal consistently and then life takes over and I kind of forget about it.

So, I guess lots has been going on in my world. Lots of work that is, so it's not really all that exciting. Since I had to fire Luis I've been working like a maniac and it's kind of gross, so I'd rather not talk anymore about it since it already takes up so much of my time.

It is bitter cold here, the kind of cold in which you walk outside and your boogers freeze. hee-hee. Walking outside to warm up the car at 4 a.m. is an extremely unpleasant experience as of late. I do love the first couple of really good snows with the big flakes and it actually feels warmer out. As long as staffing at work goes all right, I'll be leaving for Florida on Christmas day to celebrate the holiday with Dan and his family (hmmm, I guess it's "our family" now) at their condo. I was weirded out at first, but now I thinkit will be neat to be in a warmer climate for Christmas.

We put up our tree on Saturday. It looks so pretty and smells awesome. I made Dan listen to the John Denver and the Muppets Christmas cd (my personal favorite) all day (a long with a few other special "we listen to these when decorating the tree" cds. It is so one of my favorite things to do all year. I love, love, love it.

Oooh, something else fun that I did - I saw Fiona last night! Anna, did you see her? Oh my god, I so hope you were there. She was absolutely stunning. I just kept hoping for one more song, one more song, and then it sucked when it was over. But those are the best concerts. I'm still flying from it today. Oh, she was so great. I wasn't too keen on the theater and it was all standing room general admission, and that kind of blew but only because people are so rude and can't even say excuse me when they bump into you. Other than that it was just awesome. Music rules.

Hopefully this cut thingy will work. Off to feed cutie pa-tootie Hershey her dinner. Later gators.
