Better enough to travel?
I seem to be recovering nicely from the surgery... my back is still quite stiff, and I'm supposed to `take it easy' for another week or so, but the previous pain (back/hip) is gone, and the incision is more stiff and sore than painful. All good signs, I'm told. I'll see the neurosurgeon again in about a week to make sure that everything checks out, but signs are positive.
..which is good, because lemurtanis and I will be heading out to Origins very early tomorrow. We'll be gone for roughly one week, most of which will be spent sitting in a convention hall playing games, or waiting to play games, or talking about playing games, or that ilk. I'm sure will stop by Barley's at least once.
All in all, if I can get through the plane rides, it should be a fine week. Wish me luck!
