I've come back. I apologize for not being able to reach you sooner with news of my return, but things were quite busy right until the last moment. Chie... decided to stay home. Her parents were upset at her irresponsibility concerning the dog, and she said that Dojima-san said that the precinct could use a barista. Mother is doing well, though, and I thought that perhaps a little more research here could be useful.
