I don't know how to say this in a less meaner way but maybe my grandma's hospitalization was a blessing in disguise for me. Because of it, I got to spend time with my family and friends.
Days ago, I was talking about how I don't have enough time to do the things that I want and the things that I need. I talked about it in previous blog entry. While writing that entry three nights ago, my Mom knocked on my door and told me that they have to bring my grandma to the hospital. I was thinking of not to go with them but then my father asked me to go so I did. I finished my entry as fast as I can.
My plans for the next days were changed instantly. I was supposed to watch the SFX Digital Film Festival but I wasn't able to because I was in the hospital. I made my homework there so as not to waste time. And by 5pm, I went to Xavier to enjoy the festivity, and to spend time with friends.
Now it's Sunday and I was able to take care of my grandma, spend time with the family, enjoy the XU Days with high school and DA friends, and I was even able to Skype with Kyle this afternoon!
And not just that, I was inspired by those health posters in the hospital to have a healthy lifestyle. I lost approximately 600 calories of going up and down the stairs. And maaaaan, I kept on eating a lot in the hospital. It was great!
I am so glad God gave me these chances to do the things that I want and need. :)
Here's a photobooth photo I have with friends last night:
