So last Thursday, I was driving home from work and my car stalled. This happened right outside of the parking structure at work just before an intersection.
There was plenty of gas & electricity, the engine was not turning over.
I could not smell gas at the tail pipe while trying to turn over the engine.
The van is 11 yrs old now so a few things are bound to give out.

So I called a tow truck and had it towed to Canadian Tire.
This was at about 6:15 that I go there and the service dept was closed.
So I stopped by there at 8 am the next day to start the repairs.

A few hours later they said it was the fuel pump (I though it was as well).
When they had the van up they also found the timing belt was disintegrating and the water pump was leaking.

About a year ago I had to replace the serpentine belt as it was also falling apart.
Thinking about it I remembered every time I went to Mr. Lube, they topped up the antifreeze so I guess a leak was the cause.

The total cost $1500.00, ouch, it's a good thing I had an extra paycheck this month. = /
