Games and Love
While Rogier passionately plays W.O.W., with the focus on battling against other players, enjoying competition factor the most, I play PS3 or XBOX360 and games, where story and adventure are fundamental.
I finally finished Eternal Sonata..the cuttest game I ever experienced. So pure and naive and very pretty :) I could really appreciate the battle system (unlike in Final Fantasy BS, which irritates me)
And then almost accidently I tried Dragon Age: Origins, while choosing my next game..I did not put too much faith in it, but the moment I started...i got lost in that world..This is definitelly the best fantasy game I ever played (As I dumped Elder Scroll IV on the way and never finished - this may be an unfair statement)..I find it really well thought through, deep and very satisfying in terms of stories, quests, characters, battle and inventory system, dialogs and choices. Very versitile experience...I just finished FADE part of the quest, when team got sucked into a faked reality by demon Sloth..Some people call it biggest pain in the ass in the game, but I found it extremely enjoying..the quest forces u to use all new aquired abilities in order to get through the giant maze (labyrinth u are stuck in).if u put all peaces of the puzzle together correctly u will eventually get to the parts of the maze where ur party members are stuck..after freeing them u willbe granted access to the center of the maze, where demon himself resides. well, awesome really..very different from the normal pace fantasy questing games take. I am completely in love with this game now...don't know how I didnt step on it earlier..Man, Im so grateful to people who created these worlds and adventures that I so much like, but would never be able to take in real life.. After I will be done with Dragon Age..and I hope it will take me ages yet, especially taking into account that i cannot play too much...I will attack Mass Effect 1 and 2..from the same make BioWare..but set in Sci-Fi decorations..mmm..jam-jam!
I love it when Rogier plays his wow..and I play my ps3...we are engaged in different activities, and in some way are in different realities for that time, but i love that we are together in same room..and from time to time someone says:-I love u! and then another one replies: - I love u more! :)
