Those who've seen it

I've just mentioned in my previous post...that although my uncle is very rough type of a man..he is capable of love like Edward loves Bella..(and this is how he loves his wife). But now I think I should have said BECAUSE he is such man, he is capable ...not ALTHOUGHT..And here is why..

I also say that Russians have a deep open soul and our feelings often determine our choices, when I see that many personal choices here are made by people based on mind..verstand.

In Russia..every young man must go to army..it is an obligation..and unless u have an exemption due to health condition or study - U go and serve ur country. And when these guys are done with study - the still have to go to army..and Russian army is something I wouldn't recommend so lightly. Damn, they see the life there..and damn they return very-very mature..with understanding of true values. When u have 2 years of restrictions in limited space..u do have an opportunity to realize what really matters. Russian army is also a very cruel world..older guys often bully (in the worst possible way) newcomers. Army is a separate subject..but one thing it does..it builds the character. And it also very much gives people the opportunity to understand the real value of things.Russian army is also a test for couples..test for feelings..try to live 2 years without ur girlfriend (and for her - boyfriend)..not to cheat..not to have sex even for 2 years!!! not to betray someone who so much loves u and lives by idea to see u again..this is real test for feelings and loyalty. Many fail. My mother passed.

When I came to Holland..the immaturity of Dutch guys (in both character and behavior) was frightening to me. And I was wondering if it is a cultural difference, is it over emancipated Dutch women influence...or..maybe..because Dutch guys never really "smelled the gunpowder".. Sorry, Dutch guys..I met some great people here..but the exemption only proves the rule. Yeah, my uncle's been not just to the army, but to a war..he smelled the gunpowder inside-out..and he truly knows the value of things. Experience. But it doesn't mean he can't laugh, joke or fool around..Sometimes he is even overdoing it to my opinion.

On the other side..I am being a little hypocrite here..Dutch guys are not anyhow worse than Russian once..and definitely better looking hehe..But this concept crossed my mind..lack of harsh experience that build the character can explain lack of ability to value the basic, but most important things. IMHO..don't shoot me. :)

russia, yana-theory, the way i perceive
