Japanese restaurant TANUKI in Moscow
Those who read me regularly or know me personally, are perfectly aware of the fact that I am all-around crazy about Japan in general and Japanese food in particular. If I have to list my best meals ever in top 3..it would look like this:
3. Ca'del Biro in Maastricht. http://www.cadelbiro.nl/ I still don't know what is was made of..my menu..but it was awesomely delicious..

Man...Tanuki...it was beyond ANYTHING I EVER ate before..It was SO TASTY....I was forever sold to it..And to think that I wasn't sure I wanna go there..but Lena and Dimitry convinced me it's a good one..The sphere was great..but food itself..OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!! I sleep and dream about this restaurant hahahhaa And next time I'm in Moscow..I am DEFINITELY going there again..Their rolls and sashimi..fish and meat dishes..soups..it was all just TOO GOOD to be truth..
Shame we don't have any Japanese restaurants in the area that deliver to ur home address. Tanuki does..but hey Japanese culture and food is very popular in Russia..Few years back it was in the highlight of fashion..They have really A LOT Japanese restaurant chains in Moscow..but yeah...Moscow is a huge city u can compare to any other capital of the world..and majority of the shops are open 24/7 like in New York. Moscow is really impressive now a days..and the new business center looks like City in London or alike. But back to what I've been talking about..
Restaurant Tanuki in Moscow..man....I have no idea when I will get the opportunity to get there again..but MAN IT WAS WORTH IT EVERY DAMN SECOND..If I lived in Moscow, I would have been eating there every week..or ordering from them. It is much more difficult with Jap restaurants and culture in NL. Pizza or some Chinese stuff - more than enough..but good Jap restaurants are placed in big cities like A-dam or R-dam etc..Don't know if they deliver, tho..but well..
Just wanted to express how crazy I am about Tanuki in Moscow..and that the dinner in Jap restaurant is really something I will NEVER SAY NO TO.
Just visited their website..to refresh my memories..and boy, did I get hungry..Memories-Memories...:))))) Was I happy :) hahaha I dream of the moment I'll be able to eat it all again :)))
