Saudi Arabia-II
Okay, I've found some blogs..from the journalists and people who live and work in Saudi Arabia...Not so happy...these stories...I already swore to myself that I will never ever go to a Muslim country again..after Egypt..and believe me..Egypt is not that bad yet...because 80% of country's economy is based on tourism and stuff..But even now I remember some unpleasant, to say the least, events...I am happy to be a woman. I like what I am..but there..to be a woman is a curse, in my opinion...BUT..in the world of men they have little to say..if anything.
Knowing me...anyone can say I would not last for long there with my big mouth, hot temper and inability to submit to unworthy...and believe me, I rarely find anyone worth of that..So, I stay safely in a country that is good for me..the Netherlands :)
As a woman..I better not to read all these stories about Saudi Arabia..U know, when I read this book about Saudi princess...hm..u have no idea..even remotely...how sinful and disgraceful is the high society there..I mean men. And these from people who claim to be pious...HA! not even close...NOT EVEN CLOSE...I wonder..how shut-minded u should be to live in such MIDDLE AGES..but then again..in the world of men that should suit them just fine...Funny..many ages ago before religious pricks turned women into something sinful and unholy..women were esteemed highly..they gave life. I always said - only corrupted narrow-minded pricks can blame on woman what they do/did to them..or think that they are in any way better. I've read stories about Saudi princes raping young girls (like 8 years old or so)..but this is not yet the worst..the worst is that their parents brought them to princes themselves..and sold them..and THAT happens NOW..in modern world..Geez, give me a shot-gun. Or how about having a special entrance for women in restaurant..a separate part of the house..or entrance in the bank..or these rediculous cloths..It is shameful to reveal ur looks to unknown, they say! Ha..One thing to say to these men: if u can't hold u dirty thoughts inside ur head..if u feel offended by woman who does as u do..and not bit worse..IT IS U WHO SHOULD BE ASHAMED. I hate stupidity...and these so-called traditions that allow to humiliate women in all these ways..they are nothing but CRUEL AND STUPID. Many things make me really angry about the rules of their world..Luckily I have nothing to do with it.
I think there are many good and respected families and men..who live in peace with their wives and stuff..but...any limitation of freedom makes me angry..and in Muslim countries women's freedom is limited to almost no end..
Imagine how gays feel in these countries..I am not favoring homosexuality in any way..I think it is unnatural..but I never judge it..as long as they behave normally, I totally don't mind. I know some really nice guys who are gays, never had a problem with them..But imagine them there...and believe me they do exist in these countries..
