Today I went to watch a free screening of Narnia: Prince Caspian with a few friends. The movie was abit long, but it ended well for me. I was hoping that *SPOILER* they would stay back in Narnia instead of going back to London =( *END SPOILER* Overall, it was a good movie, especially an improvement in war strategies. Lol. After the movie, all that my friends could come up with is whether Caspian was cuter or Peter was cuter. Where is the Edmund love? Haha, sorry but Peter wins in my book! =D
W.Yoong was craving for something crispy, so we had KFC for lunch. It's always a wonder to me, the fact that they don't have 6pc nuggets value/meal or set. Swt...
Oh, me and Yvonne had done our medical examination required for our Visa yesterday. Hope it all goes well. The process was very very long because well, partly our fault because we didn't prepare the required documents in advance. Manalah kami tahu... Pertama kali apply mar. Not that the staffs were very helpful in the first place.
Speaking of staffs, those staffs should enroll themselves for a manners and etiquette course for goodness sake. As staffs for customer SERVICE, not only were they RUDE, they were also so full of themselves that they treat us PAYING customers like children.
Goodness, where do I even start? At the embassy, the lady wouldn't let us apply there, suggesting that it is better if we apply online. I know that she is just being kind, suggesting that to us to reduce our hassle. But aren't we given the OPTION to apply online or apply at the embassy? It is a privilege being able to apply online, but since WE ARE ALREADY THERE, just let us apply for the Visa directly goddammit. Me and my frineds already planned to do our medical directly after the application process, but nooooooooo. She keep "insisting" that we go home and apply and then print out the medical form and then come out and do our medical. Hello? Is Mr. Rational in? Or perhaps Miss Courteous? Guess not.
After further persuasian, we manage to apply. Thanks to a kinder, more helpful lady on duty next. Thank you for making my day better.
While waiting for our turn, we filled in the form. The form has so may questions it felt like answering questions during an exam. Lol. No sweat! But after that, about my morning being better, it seems that I spoke too soon. The lady at the counter wasn't a pleasant one either. To me, she even passed off as arrogant. Just because you work are older than me doesn't mean you have the right to speak with me so impolitely, lady. After many mistakes, we were finally done with applying the Visa. Medical next!
We went to the nearest clinic next door. After talking to the nurse, it seems that we missed out a few documents. Argh. After listening to her explanation, and the fact that it is a first come first serve basis, we couldn't take a number. So we rushed to Yvonne's dad's office to do the photocopying and stuff. Her father was kind enough to take my other friend, Teddy, to take his passport photos. After getting everything done, we went to the nearest clinic beside the office, only to find out that the ONLY panel doctor is not in and only will be back after 2pm. It was 11am at the time. Takkan mau tunggu meh... So we rushed back to the first clinic, while getting stuck in a timely traffic jam. Sigh.
We arrived at the first clinic again, and registered ourselves. While registering, the nurse earlier, switched on to PMS mode, started to complain about us. Something about her wanting to explain something else earlier before we rushed off to get our documents. But it seems that we didn't hear her so she thought we didn't want to listen. So I thought, my bad, and felt apologetic. Apologetic MY FOOT. The next thing she said made me wanna do something-not-suitable-to-be-mentioned-on-LJ to her.
"I want to tell you something just now, but you all don't wanna listen. So whatever lor. I don't care."
Are you ******** serious? Is your brain working or is your skull empty in the first place. I don't mean to be demeaning but I was seriously pissed off. A nurse. If you don't think before you blurt out things like that how do you expect to give a pleasant treatment to your customers? To think I was sorry in the first place for ACCIDENTLY ignoring you, and now you're giving me this? GOSH. I was holding myself back from giving you a VERY LARGE piece of my mind, nurse. Don't push it.
Even during the X-Ray examination was the same. The lady in charge was also rude to the point that I wanted to walk out of the room as fast as possible after the X-Ray. Thankfully the nurse was soft-spoken and kind, even trying to help me tie my hair up. This was my first time taking X-Ray, so obviously I didn't know that to do. So the kind nurse taught me what to do. I was suppose to stand still, as ordered by the X-Ray lady. So I was trying to adjust my hand position, while she was still in the room. Next for all I know, she raised her voice at me:
:I told you don't move, why you still moving?!"
HELLOOOOOOOOO sister. You are still in the freaking room, not taking my X-Ray yet. And you don't have to raise your voice. The situation does not require you to, for goodness sake. And I was just adjusting my hand position on my hips, NOT DOING THE SHUFFLE/TANGO or any big movements. And apparently, during my friend's turn, she ask my friend to stand near the table, only to push her away with her hand later. Never think before you speak or act ar kakak? You asked her to stand there then don't push her away. Next when my friend forgot to bring in her glasses for the eye examination, the X-Ray lady told her:
"Next time bring everything in. Don't waste my time."
Hey, who PAID you for your time? We did. So stop your complaining and just do it. It's not like we are doing it for free. Sheeeesh. Thank god the doctor that examined us later was a kind kind lady doctor.
Summary of the whole thing? The LADIES working there are just plain rude. Don't mean to gender discriminate because I am a girl myself but turn off your goddamn PMS mode when serving your customers. Being rude to your customers is never good for both parties. Makes your customer irritated and pissed, and you give yourself a stinky reputation. For your company and you.
This VIsa better be worth all the plain rude people I've met in just a single day.
Sorry for any vulgar language that offended you. I just can't help it. Can YOU? -.-
A very long rant inside. Haha. Feel so much better after letting it out.
I all done with assignments for the semester!! YES! Final exam is just around the corner. Gotta work my ass off again. =(
Have a pleasant day! ^_^
