This week sucks and it's only Tuesday.
Here are some choice bits of the week:
~ My roommate decided to purchase and put up a large shelving unit in the living room without consulting me. If you have ever been in my apartment, it takes up the entire wall area from the end of the couch to the front door. It is entirely too large, oddly placed, and does not match the living room at all. He claims that he was gonna put it in his room and that it's only there "for now," except a.) it's way too big to even FIT in his room and 2.) he already loaded it up with all his books and DVDs. These are not hints that tell me he is planning on moving the damn thing. When I see him tonight, you can bet I'm gonna ask him.
~ Having friends in the military SUCKS. Shalimar left yesterday and will be on the water for the next 6 months. Vaughn left today for a couple months in Scotland and Norway. Amir leaves for Iraq for 3 months at the end of June. And then Steve just called this morning to tell me that he's being shipped out... not sure where or when or for how long. I am sad.
~ Girls are crazy. And a lot of my guy friends have crazy girlfriends. One called me last night, acting all psycho. I am NOT down for dealing with or being wrapped up in that kind of drama.
~ Ummm... my roommate watches Lifetime. And in case you didn't know, my roommate is a guy.
