I won! I won! I WON!!!!
My story Heroes and Monsters won forbiddenawards in the Lords and Agents (Best Gen) category!
The write-up:
"The trouble is, if you live long enough, and if you're good enough at it, you slowly become a bigger and bigger hero." This is a fantastic slice of writing, that I enjoyed very much. A very compelling work. Woven full of angst in places, the pain of immortality shone through as very, very New Whoesque. The characterisations were excellent and I completely bought into the universe. It was clever and misleading in places, which was even more fun when I realised where the writer was taking it. Easily the winner here.
