I guess I'm about due for a meme, and since mkhione tagged me, here it is. I know I've seen a couple other of my friends do this, but I have a hard time keeping track of things. So, if you're reading this, and you haven't done it, consider yourself tagged!
1. Make a list of 5 things that you can see without getting up:
Let's see... a glass of water, my tv, my sister's digital camera (that I have borrowed for a craptastic school assignment), my Blizzard authenticator (so my WoW account doesn't get hacked), and a lighter.
2. How do you style your hair?
Ha... I totally don't anymore. It's usually pulled up into a messy ponytail/bun thing, with my bangs twisted up in a little... pompador kind of thing. But little. Not ridiculous. Or sometimes, if I have the time I straighten my hair. But still with the pompador thing.
3. What are you wearing now?
Sweatpants and a tank top. I'm frumpy.
4. What's your occupation?
Currently, I'm a starving college student. In the past I've been a nanny, a sailor, and a Hot Topic retail worker.
5. What do you hear right now?
My husband talking crap to his textbook/homework.
6. Do you collect something? If yes, what do you collect?
Ummmm... I tend to accumulate things, rather than collect. My scrapbook paper stockpile? Huge. Crafty stuff? All over the place. But I don't really collect it.
7. What is/was for dinner?
Chicken parmesan with sourdough bread.
8. What did you do today?
Big fat nothing! And it was awesome. Lazed around in my jammies, updated my legacy, played some WoW.
9. Dog person or cat person?
I like both, but I like cats better for me. I'm out of the house for far too long every day to have a dog.
10. What's your favorite scent?
Right now, I have some Neroli Jasmin body spray from The Body Shop that I'm in love with. On a more general basis, I tend to go for muskier scents.
11. What was the last thing you bought?
Geeze.... probably something boring like paper towels or something.
12. If you could afford to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
Hmmmm... that's a tough choice. I've always wanted to go to Europe and travel around France and England and Ireland. I've also always wanted to go to Petra in Jordan.
13. Where do you see yourself in five years?
Out of school (and my current city) with a job in interior design, hopefully.
14. How's the weather where you live currently?
Well, it's almost 8 pm, so it's dark. A bit breezy, cold and a little cloudy.
15. What are you doing this weekend?
Studying for an art history test, at least for a little while. And then playing the crap out of Rift.
16. You can only eat one food for the rest of your life. What is it?
Let's see. Probably... pizza. But from one specific chain here in the valley.
17. The last movie you've seen?
Despicable Me. SO CUTE. Seriously, the most adorable movie I've seen in a long time.
18. Are you more a morning or a night person?
I used to be a night person all the way, but I've slowly started becoming a mid-morning person. I'm getting there.
19. What does your username mean?
Well, it was going to be Yams, but that was taken. Then it was going to be Yamsicle, but that was taken too. So then I decided on yamsickle. I had this brilliant (and I use the term loosely) idea to do a little drawing of a yam with a sickle as a header, but then I lost interest. Yams is because it was a shortening of the name of a WoW character I played for years. So there's that.
