Vacation...and renewel.
Went on vacation. Had a glorious time in Vermont. Lots of good food, hiking, some drinking and relaxation. I read in its entirety pillars of the earth, if you want a great read this book is awesome. I recommend it so much. I made a few resolutions. De-stress my life. Less connectivity. I'll keep my blog, but I'm minimizing my facebook usage. I think social networking is pretty consuming and I don't need any more consumers. I'll keep my FB but only as a chat feature sometimes and a way to communicate on occassion. Status updates are a thing of the past now.
I went to NERO this past weekend as well...has alot of fun. The people I hung out with are top notch. Phil P and Alex V are fun to hang with. Mike M is also a hoot, but he's so indisposed during RH events. I left really late saturday night and barely made it home. It was a rough drive. I need more sleep at events. Definetly. The plot is interesting and I am thoroughly embroiled in the white queen plotline...much to my chagrin.
It was a great weekend and a fun event. I was just sad I had to work today. At least my flex time comes back next month!
