Is what Clow Reed did in CCS related to TRC??
During this TRC-less time [there are 2 more weeks to go *sigh*], I would want to write out this little theory that is in my mind for quite a while. And thus I wanted to share or even "start-up" a discussion about this theory which surrounded about "Is what Clow Reed did in CCS?? Are they "actually" related with TRC??"
Initially, I only started to think of this theory because I was trying to justify my "used to be" fanon -- TRC|Syaoran = CCS|Syaoran*Sakura's son theory. In which,
jlarinda quite a long time ago has denied this fanon by commenting that [*note* not exact quote just the general idea] "in CCS, Eriol said that Clow Reed couldn't predict Sakura and Syaoran would be together. He thought that Sakura-chan and Yukito would fall in love with each other forever. However, that prediction is changed. And thus, if Clow Reed couldn't predict Syaoran and Sakura would be together then how can he SEE the existance of TRC|Syaoran??" In which, at that point, this plothole was indeed something that I stumbled upon and didn't thought of previously when I first developed that theory. And thus, I started having suspicious thought on maybe "what Clow Reed did in CCS is actually part of a planning for TRC to stop FWR's dream!!??" However, now that this fanon has became canon since Ch. 189~~~ My suspicious thought on Clow Reed's motivation for CCS's ending has grown ALOT stronger and I believe it is more than just as Eriol said, "I am tired of being the most powerful magician in the world who can ALWAYS see the future"
This is going to be a REALLY far-fetch thinking I have for Clow Reed. However, I think that what Clow Reed really wanted to do in CCS : "Clow Reed is trying to "break" the soul-mate rule between Sakura and Syaoran to prevent the born of TRC|Syaoran. In which it is said in Ch 191 that TRC|Syaoran would interwind/change the fate of both Sakura-hime and himself. It may be part of the planned portion from Clow Reed to help stop the fulfillment of FWR's dream!!"
I understand that this is REALLY a crazy thought; however, I have my reason in believing it from both CCS and TRC aspect of the story!!
We all know very well through TRC and xxxholic that soul-mate is something that is bound to be the same across all dimensions. I mean yes, I understand it is TRUE that some of the character in TRC isn't around their soulmate [like Celes|Chii, she is not with Hideki]. However, we will NOT see that Celes|Chii will be paired up with another male character. This soul-mate concept of "one true pairing" is the most fundamental basic of CLAMP's world. In which, this lead back to Clow Reed, would he not know such "soul-mate" concept [I mean Yuuko understand the "same soul but different person across different dimension; however, their connection are the same"] as well when he made that prediction that "Sakura and Yukito would be together forever"??
From here on, I will be switching back and forth between CCS and TRC storyline, so please bare with me here!!

Eriol said at the end, "Clow thought that Sakura-chan would fall in Love with Yukito and Yukito would do the same as well" Where exactly does "CCS|Yukito" come from?? CCS|Yukito is the false form of Yue which is created by Clow Reed as one of the Guardians of Clow Card.

What did Clow Reed told Yuuko before he died?? "The dream must end... for the future to move forward" And we all knew that "the dream" that Clow Reed is referring to would be directed to "the dream that FWR would use ANY method to fulfill it"!! In which, it is clear that both Clow Reed and Yuuko wanted to DO something to "end" this dream.
Switch back to CCS series:
Before Clow Reed died, he split his soul into Eriol and Fujitaka. In which, we all knew from CCS that Fujitaka married Nadashiko and "coincidently" CCS|Sakura sort of become Clow Reed's daughter in his second life. In which, she is destined to be the mistress of Clow Card and would inherit Clow Reed's magic [and created her own later on]. And since Yue is the guardian of the Clow Card, he came out as his "false form", Yukito to approach his next "suppose" master. That is where Yukito came into the picture of Sakura-chan's life and which she fell in love with.
This is of course as Clow predicted [or should I say planned since CCS|Yukito is technically created by Clow himself] Sakura would fall in Love and be with Yukito.
Switch to TRC series:
If what Eriol has said is the truth that Clow Reed foresee the wrong future.. "that Sakura is not with Syaoran but with Yukito" then TRC|Syaoran wouldn't even be born!!! Then WHY did Clow Reed and Yuuko need to go through all those "creating Mokona, preparing the magic tool earring and sealing tool earring, Yuuko's wish granting shop" to prepare TRC|Syaoran to stop FWR's dream.
Switching back to CCS series:
Clow Reed MAY BE able to change the future with Yukito and Sakura together, in which that would break the soul-mate between Syaoran and Sakura in CCS|World. However, of course love and soulmate is not one that would be easily changed. Especially, Clow Reed is also trying to changed another pair of soulmate which is Touya and Yukito. Which is quite evidently see that despise Yue initially was only having his false form, Yukito to approach Sakura. However, Yukito actually fell in love with Sakura's brother, Touya.
This encore back to what I believe in as the real motivation of Clow Reed behind CCS. I mean if CCS Story is not conjunct with TRC, his prediction of "Yukito and Sakura will be together" may only be a wrong future he saw due to change of heart. However, now that we know TRC has a really deep connection with CCS. If Clow Reed is not behind this whole soul-mate pairing "wrong" prediction, this is quite a major plothole from CLAMP side since they break their ultimate "one true pairing" rule!!
