So I'm becoming addicted to Twitter.
It all started so innocently at first too. All I wanted to do was to check in and see what funny little random things Misha would post from day-to-day.
Nope. Not anymore. Now I'm watching Steve Carleson's page and Danneel's among others'....it's sad. And really a lot of fun.
What is REALLY sad though...I was on Danneel's page, and was reading where someone was insulting her and saying all of this shit about how she doesn't deserve Jensen and whatever else nonesense they were spewing. It really kind of makes me want to throw something. The reason that people look at us strange as fangirls is because of the stupid individual people that go out of their way to make us look derranged. I mean, honestly, I know we, as a fandom, like to jokingly put on our tin hats about Jensen and Jared, and talk about their epic love for each other. But honestly? When I see people like this it makes me ashamed.
Honestly ashamed.
Do they think that by spewing the wank that they do about the boys and their opinions about how they should live that they do anything else but alienate the actors from Fandom? I mean, if I was a part of this fandom from the other side, as an actor, and I read shit about the fans HARRASSING my friends because they get engaged....I would refuse to do anything that put me in personal contact with the fans. Like say, a convention?
I mean, how does it endear us to Kripke and more importantly, the actors of Supernatural when we act in abnoxious ways to get attetion. What did this person (I'm assuming it was a fangirl) expect Danneel to do? Did she expect her to suddenly think, "Oh, you know what? I think this fan is right. No way could I really compare to Jared. I should break up with Jensen. He's not REALLY in love with me. He's in love with his best friend".
Come ON people. Seriously? Get over it. There's a reason it's called Fan FICTION. It's not real.
