This is perhaps the first weekend where I've done nothing but lounge around, playing my Wii. And it's been awesome. Seriously ( Read more... )

I have a PS3, but I didn't bring it to Korea. I don't have a HDTV here and it's painful playing it on a SDTV, especially one as small as mine. Once you hack your Wii, you are not supposed to upgrade it again unless you delete whatever you used to hack it. that's the best way to avoid bricking your console. My Wii has got a USB drive installed so I can play ROMs on it. Should I have to upgrade my Wii again, though, I'd have to uninstall it, at least temporarily.

So instead of lugging my PS3, I brought my Wii (since I wanted to hack it) and my PS2, which I have quite a backlog of games on (I also want to get it hacked). I have a few PS3 games back in the States, but nothing to rival my Wii and PS2. I think I have, like, 7 total? Where I have at least 14 PS2 games and 10 for my Wii.

I looked up some videos for Catherine, but was not really interested. Puzzle games are not my thing, and I don't really play Atlus games anyway.

As for Xillia, I'm planning on picking it up once it comes to Korea, but that's pretty much all the thought I've put into the game. I haven't really been looking up battle information at all, so I don't know what to expect from it, other than the fact I know TP is back (boo) and the ability to swap out characters during battle. Other than that, I'm kind of disappointed with the whole thing. The graphics are nice, but return to TP is disappointing, after having played with the CC Core in Graces and Destiny: DC, and I don't care for many of the characters. But regardless, I'll get it anyway. I'm just hoping I can find it for cheaper here in Korea, because I do NOT want to pay 70 dollars for that game. >_
