I don't know if you've been up to date on my latest posts or not, but I'm currently looking for a new camera. I've been trying to decide between a Canon and Nikon. So I've been playing around a lot on Amazon and looking at different cameras. Anyway, I'm still thinking about going to the store and looking at cameras, but so far this is what I'm more interested in. ^^
This is the canon I am considering getting.
The Kit Includes:
- Canon EOS Rebel T1I Digital SLR
- 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Zoom Lens
- Camera Bag
- Transcend 16 gigabyte SD memory card
- cleaning kit
- SD to USB (which I don't need)
- a memory card case
- Spare LP-E5 High Capacity Lithium-Ion Battery pack
- an image recovery program
679.95 + 16.95 shipping = $696.90
And in case I get tired of the lens kit, I'm also thinking I might get this:
Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4.0-5.6 IS Telephoto Zoom Lens
$199.99 + $7.25 = $207.24
In total (acc to Amazon): $918.65
So, what say you? I've also heard a lot of good about the Nikon D5000, but in the end I'm swaying more toward this set. The Canon kit on its own is not that expensive, and there's always the option to upgrade the lens to the lens pictured below.
Spent this weekend braving the cold weather and traveling around Incheon. I've pretty much exhausted both Seoul and Incheon's major tourist attractions, but staying inside your apartment all day is really boring. I think next year I'm gonna focus more on my apartment and make it feel more like a house rather than just a place to sleep so I don't get cabin fever so much. XD
This week I've got to start packing and work on cleaning my apartment since I plan on being busy visiting and etc the remaining week and a half I have left in Korea before my trip back to the States... Clean the apartment, start figuring out what I want to pack away and what will go home, and etc. I have a feeling the last two weeks are gonna be pretty busy. X_X
