Tales of Graces Play
Busy weekend. Yesterday they had a Chronicle of Narnia marathon. We saw the first two at church then went to the theater and saw the third one. I liked it, though it definitely wasn't as good as the previous films. The 3D was totally useless and really didn't add anything to the movie, which was kind of disappointing.
Later this weekend my friend and I went on a converter hunt. She had brought a small converter with her which promised it could convert voltage, but it wasn't strong enough for her PS3. We got quite a scare when her PS3 turned on then turned off right away. So we went to both Home Plus and then E-Mart to look for transformers. We actually found one at Home Plus, but it was a step down converter. It would convert 220v to 110v instead of 110v to 220v. Disappointed, we headed home. That was when I remember my co-worker had one. We went to his apartment to ask him where he got his and he wound up letting us borrow it until we get our own. We're going to go to Yongsan this weekend and see if we can find one.
We hooked it up and I got a chance to try out Tales of Graces. After some major system updating the game started. I don't know if it was the fact that she didn't have HDTV cables or what, but the game itself looked really....weird. I didn't play it for very long; mostly I just wanted to make sure the game worked properly, so I played it long enough to meet Sophie and then we switched to God of War and later on Assassin's Creed. I'm not planning on playing Tales of Graces any more until I have my own PS3.
I can't believe I forgot about transformers. All this time I've been stressing out about using my Korean PS2 and DVD player in America, but those problems are easily solved by just forking over $40-50 and getting a transformer. I'll probably wait till I can get back to America and purchase one there, rather than buy one here and have to haul it back (transformers are heavy!).
