New update. I ordered the computer from Home Depot, but they wouldn't accept it since I'm in Korea, so my mom ended up just going to the store and buying it. I'm a little worried she didn't get the right one, though I DID give her the link to the page where it was listed. But there's no point dwelling on it now...
I'm just psyched to be getting a new computer! To be back online and not having to depend on my work computer for internet. To watch anime again, and download movies. I am counting the days until I receive it in the mail.

Checked on Gamestop and my Fragile copy shipped to my house, complete with the bonus CD. I was pretty happy about that. I checked out the review of the game on IGN, which was pretty much what I expected. I love how IGN hypes up a game for so long and then just completely bashes it when they review it. It's not like they never played it before the review. They complained a lot about the battle system and the fetch quests, which is sad since a) they never complained about the battle system before, despite the fact that they imported the Japanese version, and b) who really was expecting the battle system to be GOOD? Fragile is all about exploration and story, not about the battle system. But whatever.
I found the comments more amusing than the review. "I wanted the game so badly", one author writes. Well, no one is stopping you from buying it! I know most gamers don't dedicate the time and energy to research their games to see if they like them, but that doesn't mean that they should just ignore a game just because a reviewer gives it a bad score. Think for yourselves, people. Don't just follow blindly along like little lambs. People are so silly.
Anyway,I'm looking forward to playing my copy....someday. I know I won't get to until September, at the earliest. But I feel a lot better knowing it's part of my game collection now.

I've been so horribly bored lately that I've actually read through all of Stephanie Meyer's The Host. It seemed like a kind of rip off of Animorphs, at least with how the "spirits" worked. And Meyer really needs to get better at characterization and science. Unless you're a sci-fi writer or big into sci-fi, you shouldn't really be trying to write it. That's what I think, at least.
Earlier this week my kids "forced" me to pick a Korean name, and it took me until now to remember. More so, it was like "teacher, what's your korean name? what's your korean name?" They kept bugging me about it until I promised them I'd make one to shut them up. Anyway. Charles came over last night and we decided on 성희, or Seong-Hi. I'll be honest, I liked "seong" because it sounds like the word "song" to me, and "hi" because it means "day" or "fire" in Japanese. The Korean meaning is pretty cool too. Seong is spiritual, and hi has several different meanings. I also chose it because it's fun to write in Korean. My motives are so ridiculous. XD
This weekend I'm planning to do some more solo hiking and maybe play videogames. I spent a lot of money Monday getting back from Bucheon to Yeonsu, so I don't really want to spend a lot this weekend. I'm thinking of playing more Tales of Destiny, or maybe even Tales of Rebirth. If the weather is nice I may even have a picnic on the mountain on top of the rocks. That sounds really nice right now...
