Another day, another kor diss. This time it's in the form of a new topic, with the user asking how he can get a hold of the Symphonia Team so he can "discuss" the game with them. *sighs* It's sad, you know, because it doesn't really upset me when people hate on kor anymore (I'm used to it by now), but to waste precious forum space on a topic like that? He'd have been better off just PMing the admin and asking him/her instead. Bah. Really though, what's the point? It's not like it'll change anything. The game is out. It managed to sell a few copies. I'm sure Namco is happy enough with that. If they're still thinking about kor, it'll be about the European version. Other than that, I'm sure they're more focused on their current titles in development.

Omi came over yesterday and we played more of Vesperia. We are seriously at the last boss, but stuck. I think the biggest problem is the lack of items, but it's not like we can just up and leave the temple to get some more. For one, it took forever to reach the boss. Secondly, I'm not sure if we could even get back. It seems like we're kind of stuck there. The other problem is our levels. I'm not quite sure we're leveled up enough to tackle on the final boss. But we will persevere!

In my file, I'm running around collecting the entelexia and turning them into spirits. So far I've only got Undine and Sylph, but I'm not headed to get Gnome and Efreet. Efreet is probably my favorite spirit, as Phaeroh was my favorite entelexia. I've been grade farming a bit and working on my weapon add-ons. I didn't take them seriously at the beginning of the game, and because of that I can't do simple things like back step. Until recently, my party members couldn't even throw items to each other! It was extremely aggravating. If I start up another game after this I'll definitely be sure to keep that in mind.

I've also been playing more of Radiata Stories lately. RS is a good game to play in short bursts since the game features a lot of missions. You can do a few missions and get some story development, then put it down for a while and go back to it later and repeat.

The game can get super confusing. Well, mostly it's the fact that I have no sense of direction in that game. I get lost on the world map...heck, I get lost in the castle, which is where I'm supposed to be living! Whoops. The castle is made up of nothing but hallways and all the doors look the same. On top of that, there are five floors, plus two basements. It's very easy to get lost. Ridley kindly reminds me of my failures at the start of every meeting. Well, excuuuse me, Princess. Not all of us have lived in the castle for our entire lives!

Seriously, I kind of like Ridley, even if she is mean to Jack. She's voiced by the same VA that does Natalia from Tales of the Abyss. Brings back good memories. ^_^

One thing that's neat about RS is that the NPCs work on a clock schedule. That is to say, people move around to different locations as the time changes. The majority of the people have their own schedules, so if you want to find someone you have to make sure you know their schedule well enough to know where they are at what time. I'm sure that will get annoying later on in the game, but for now it's kind of neat.

Besides soldiers, another thing that castle has is ghosts. There's a ghost girl who wanders the halls and sits in on the school classroom. The first time I saw her she came walking through a door. Nearly scared the life out of me. Most people in RS actually open and close doors, so it really surprised me to see her come through the door. Apparently, only children can see her, though the teacher can as well. He doesn't know she's a ghost though. I feel kind of bad for her though, because even though other kids can see her only one of them talk to her. Poor ghost-child!

Right now Jack got kicked out of the knights because one of the aristocrat's daughters, your co-worker Ridley, got injured while she was on a mission with you. The aristocrat pulled some strings and Jack and his boss got cut. So now Jack is part of a guild and the boss, Gantz? Who even knows. He failed the guild test, sadly, and is currently seeking employment.

I'm looking forward to the day that I'll be able to meet up with Ridley again... I really miss having her on the team. ;-;

Randomness! a kor 4-koma from my new kor doujinshi.

You might not be able to read the translator notes there, but basically I wrote that Marta and Tenebrae are informing him about the world regeneration journey that the chosen undertook and yada yada from the first game. I probably should have translated that part, but I was lazy. And it looks better how it is anyway. ^^;;
