(no subject)
Urgh. I realized just how out of shape I am today after shoveling my driveway. I'm not tired, but my muscles are kind of sore, and I know they'll be worse tomorrow. X_X
Today was one of my "I'm going to waste my time" days. I spent the majority of the day playing video games before getting dragged Christmas shopping with my mom.
Games of the day were: Tales of Rebirth, Tales of Eternia, Persona 2, KoR.
I've been playing a little more of Rebirth, but as I'm too lazy to read the English translations (and I don't really want to anyway), I've been having to play the game based on my own knowledge. We just cured Annie who got sick when we were running around in a well. We went to the nearest village, but all the people there were mean to us because apparently a bunch of their people had gotten sick and died from the same disease. Begin quest to find the rare medicine to save our fellow teammate. >_< I had to use Tytree for the first time, and he proceeded to die-- in a random fight. Switched him out for Hilda, though I'm not sure I like her much better.
To be fair, Tytree did most of the fighting. He died on the way back to the village, and considering I already gave him a gel in the previous battle, I wasn't going to waste my items and revive him. I'm such a cheapskate.
I'm currently at the Undine fight in ToE. I thought I'd be ready to fight Undine at level 18, but apparently not. I did last quite a deal longer this time around, but Undine spams magic and I had no way to stop her attacks. Very irritating. I feel bad, but I'm not sure how much further I'll be able to get in this game before I give it back...I guess that depends on what happens with Vesperia.
I've had Persona 2 for a while, but I never really got into it (as we all know). Today I managed to get myself into my first boss fight...and died. I guess I had to be higher than level 3. XD It IS rather annoying though... there's nowhere to buy items and nowhere to heal...and the game isn't even telling me how to summon my personas or let me fight regularly. Again, not sure how much further I'll get in this game. It may end up sitting in my closet untouched forever.
After all that I was a little bit annoyed and went back to playing a video game I don't suck at, KoR. Found out that I can't do the Richter sidequest, so I guess I'll have to do a third play through to get that. I AM going to try for the Twilight Palace though and all of the Alice and Decus side stories.
We are currently at the light-frog part, but I'm wasting my time doing quests at the Katz Guild. What a way to spend my day XD
edit: I have $50 more dollars to spend for Xmas...I'm not quite sure what I want to spend it on. Any suggestions?
