Alright, I don't write in my LJ that much. Mainly just when I'm excited or bored.
Now, I happen to be tired. But oh well.
I learned a valuable tidbit of infomation from an insider at a potential job, and there's a high chance of me getting it.
And, best of all, it's within walking distance from where I live!
It'll probably just pay minimum wage, but I'm 17, and it'll be my first job, so I can't complain.
For those that don't know, federal minimum wage is $7.25.
So, let's say, if I work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week (I am looking for full time), then I'd earn $290.
If you're a spoiled brat, that doesn't sound like a lot, but if you're someone like me who never gets anything without earning it, that' a hellalot.
Since normally you get paid once every two weeks, that's $580 per paycheck.
So, once I make the money, what am I to do with it?
I'll start putting $100 up for savings per paycheck, if not moar once I buy the stuff I want.

Yes, I'm a very easy person to please. I also plan on buying suffs online ^w^
One day, when I graduate college, I'll be making $50000 or so my first year of working, which is $1000 a week. That's when I'll stop pirating :D
But most kids don't come from a sorry as hell household, so there.
Most kids probably have half of these things. I hate you.
When school starts back, I'll go to part-time, and I won't be making as much, but still. I'm going to try to save more after I get the things I want, too. That way I can have money to leave when I turn 18.
Also, a job will get me out of the house.
And I need a car. I demand a VW Beetle...O_O Because they're adorable, and I can only carry a few people with me. And I need to learn how to drive.
But I haven't taken drivers ed.
I guess I'll just learn from a friend.
I hate that I have to work for anything, and I hate the kids that get all of this given to them for nothing, because their parents aren't trash.
However, my dad wasn't. If Dad was still well, I would be living with him, and he would buy me whatever I want.
In case you haven't noticed, money means the world to me. Which is why I'm going to college after I graduate. It's not to bring honor to my family (haha, I'm gonna lie about who I'm related to when I'm older. I was born in NYC.), or to make me a better person, it's for money.
And I already love computers.
There's a high demand in the IT field, and there's lots of money to be made.
Call me greedy, but grow up the way I did and you're likely to be the same.
ANYWAY!
In conclusion, I hope I get this job. I hope all of you spoiled kids have everything taken from you. And I hope I can learn to drive without killing anyone.
