Finally finished! This is a tribute to Janelle Monáe, my new favorite musical performing artist!
I had been tearing my hair out trying to perfect the color scheme of this for over a month. I had about 20 layers of complex colors/filters, and after wasting another couple hours on it today, I decided to just throw it all away and color it from scratch. I chose a simple, gold and blue color scheme, inspired by the Archandroid cover this image was based on. I should have done that from the start! *headdesk*
Originally made just for fun and to celebrate one of my new favorite performers, I'm now hoping I can give it to her in person when I see her live in London in less than a week! I'm SO excited! O_O
The original file is large enough to be printed movie poster size- that's about the size of a DOOR. And yes, that's where I plan to put mine!
