Lotus Noir and F.A.C.T.S.

Oct 10, 2009 15:52

Yesterday I went to a small dedication event at a local comic shop, le Lotus Noir. The other artist there was Phillipe Jarbinet, who draws a WWII inspired comic called Airborne 44, a very different style and story from mine! Nonetheless, I had a lot of fun talking to people and practicing my French (and having them practice their English with me!)

I'll be attending F.A.C.T.S. in Ghent next weekend, if any of my Belgian readers are interested in meeting me there!

Unfortunately I didn't learn about it in time to get a table, but that's just as well since my wrists still haven't healed fully, so I shouldn't be spending all day drawing. If I'm still here in a year, I plan to have at least one Sister Claire book printed and ready to sell, along with all my illustrations which can be sold as prints and posters. =)
