"My lonely angel..."
We had a fairly quiet weekend. We went to see Mission Impossible: 3, which we enjoyed despite the constant interruptions from the teenagers around us. I don't know why people go to the cinema to talk *grr*!
We also watched Doctor Who: The Girl in the Fireplace, which I adored! I really thought that Renette and the Doctor made such a lovely couple. I mean hot kiss followed by reading each other's minds, how could you not 'ship them, lol! It was such a sad story though, and the part that got me the most (and I apologise to folk who I have already discussed this with ^^;) was when the Doctor went back through the fireplace for what he thought was the last time and he says, "Wish me luck" and Renette replies, "No" with a desperately sad look on her face. The Doctor sees it and his face literally falls as if it is dawning on him that he is leaving behind someone he has really made a connection with, someone who knows *all* about him. He then asks her to come with him through the fireplace and she readily agrees but by the time he gets back she has already died although she never gave up hope that he would come back for her. So tragic, my heart ached for them both.
And because I have had so much fun on natea2x1 and merith's LJs this afternoon, I have stolen their meme ^_^!
