I have read Empty Heart, which I loved because not only is the art gorgeous but the uke is really sensible *squishes him*! Death Note 4, my goodness, this story just gets better and more exciting ^_^! And I see 5 has just been released *grabby hands*! I also read the Gravitation novel, which I really enjoyed. It is mostly a retelling of events ( Read more... )

Short and concise answers and straight to the point, which were quite lovely points *g* I loved 1, 2 and 6 in particular. I squeed at 4 and had some very nice visual at 3 *g*

Hmm? Yes, I sometimes take forever to comment to an entry *cough*

You're welcome re:the letter - glad you had fun with it :-)

As for 'better late than never' we certainly do have a French version of it; 'mieux vaut tard que jamais', which is actually exactly the same thing, only in French. Nothing like other phrases like, for instance, 'it's raining cats and dogs' which would be 'il pleut des cordes' in French...

Does that translate as 'it's raining ropes'? Because that makes a lot more sense than the whole cats and dogs thing! How that phrase came about I don't know, lol! I should try and find out...

It does translate as 'it's raining ropes', which does make more sense that the cats and dogs thing, at least to my ears as well. I'm really curious as to where the English phrase comes from, so if you find out, keep me posted, will you? *g*

Dude, that was 'than' not 'that'. And why can't we edit our comments? *pout*

Sadly, I don't think we can edit comments in any style. I'd love it we could though because I mess with my comments more often than not *cough*

Ahh, I generally delete a comment I have made a mistake in and post it again. I'm not obsessive-compulsive for nothing, lol!

*grins* I think the short answer is that no-one is sure but there are a lot of theories, some more far-fetched than others, lol!
