So I suppose it's time for one of these! XD
So we are going to start this from leaving for Boston. Because that is what has been decided.
Massachusetts sure does look creepy, does it not? Let's live here. It'll be totally fun.
So we went out wandering during the hurricane (cough "tropical storm" at this point cough) and so I took a bunch of pictures and such.
LOOK AT THAT DAMAGE. There are almost FULL-SIZE puddles on the ground. Actually, that was before the....storm ever actually got to Boston. It got a lot more windy later on.
FULL SIZE PUDDLESSSS!
Winndddd. As we proceeded to walk through the common, there were definitely cracking noises and such. It was quite worrisome.
Newbury Street was very empty. Uh...yeah.
Prudential Center Mall always reminds me of BioShock. I think it has to do with the fact that all the halls are named stuff like "Newbury Arcade".
Dorm room, complete with Klappar Skalbag.
Textbooks...The film history one is interesting, and it's sorta neat reading Mill as a full book thing because I remember reading little excerpts of his writings during AP Euro. Writing however....
Hipster Banana at the wellness center. I really don't know....
And then the dorm caught on fire.
Not really. The official story explained how there was some sort of brush fire in the common that blew in to the ventilation and set of the fire alarms, but we are all pretty sure that's code for something like people were smoking pot or something. But apparently it took six firetrucks to figure this out. And several ambulances. Our RAs told us this happens a lot (something to do with living above a dunkin donuts and the fact that they often burn things) but I am sort of worried if we can't go four days without this happening.
