I nearly just quoted a little witticism about how there's no winter as cold as a San Francisco summer, and then stopped, because I have no idea who said that. Then I realized, it doesn't matter. Without loss of generality, any witticism about American climate can be attributed to Mark Twain.
I will henceforth be crediting things to "wlog Mark Twain", or possibly "wlog Oscar Wilde", and now you will know what I mean. Kthxbye.
