I am a pervert and am going to hell
You get to experience a lot of interesting things when you work in retail, whether it is from your co-workers or customers. Some of these experiences have just reinforced the fact that I am a pervert, also that I am going to hell.
Reason I am a pervert:
At a staff meeting a couple of weeks ago the store manager was going over some of our weekly scores for customer service and other stuff.
Boss: We got a 69 on this which is above company average, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
It took everything I had not to laugh.
Reason I am going to hell:
I see a customer in a wheelchair shopping for the new Reebok easy tones and Sketchers Shape Up fitness shoes for herself. At first I thought this was just weird until I notice that the wheelchair that she is using is the one that the mall lends out to customers on a as needed basis. The only reason she needed one from what I overheard was that she was just fat and tired of walking. If you cannot even walk around the mall I doubt the shoes will help.
Just had to share those two fun stories of my life in retail.
