Meme numero uno:

The first 10 people to comment will get an icon. You need to give me the image, I'm not going image hunting for you. All images are a go. If you want it to be something particular as in text, lemme know. If you're wanting a quote icon, I'll see what I can do.

Meme numero dos:

List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs. Then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

01. "Buddha for Mary" - 30 Seconds to Mars [download]
02. "not a word" - Yoko Kanno [download]
03. "Valentine's Day" - Linkin Park [download]
04. "Half the World Away (Live)" - Oasis [download]
05. "Smooth Criminal" - Alien Ant Farm [download]
06. "Sweet Dreams" - Marlyn Manson [download]
07. "Dead Bodies Everywhere" - Korn [download]

. . . Go for it, Flist.

Then extras that I have to share that sorta, kinda count, but sorta don't. I mostly had a hard time thinking of songs at first 'cause I only usually listen to two or three at a time (I can listen to the same song for days), but remembered these were around just some time ago.

Extra 01. "Oblivion" - 30 Seconds to Mars [download]
Extra 02. "Capricorn" - 30 Seconds to Mars [download]
Extra 03. "Kremlin Dusk" - Utada Hikaru [download]

. . . Err. I could go on and on. I'm such a music whore and I love spreading it around. **should just zip the Yuuko fanmix she downloaded a while back, which is where the third song came from** I almost feel the need to apologize for having a new Linkin Park song up there. LOL The new album . . . err. They said they wanted to go out of their comfort zone, but you know, I think they should crawl back on into it. Though there is definitely something appealing after a while. It just . . . doesn't sound anything like Linkin Park. Though I noticed something interesting a while back -- instead of suffering and being hurt, there's more focus on death on this album, and just the hint of relationships other than, "you ruined my life," or "you destroyed me." There's a bit of "I'm hurting because you're gone, permanently," in Valentine's Day anyway (and it gives me plunnies galore). That part, I don't mind, and find interesting, the style took a long while to get used to. It's not . . . bad, I guess, but I listen to it regardless. **shrugs** Just not Linkin Park. **will shut up on it 'cause she could ramble forever on the matter**

Anyway . . . what have I been up to? Exploring two extremes of the manga realm~! Been catching up on some series I'm into and really, it's odd when I stop to think about it, especially how I bounce back and forth between them like from minute to minute.

I spent one day catching up on Hellsing . . . GAH. I should not have done that. So now I have to wait what, every month for a new chapter? Gaaaaaaaah!! First I went back and made sure I'd read The Dawn. And totally got into Young Walter, made a bunch of icons with him. Though now I'm wondering what I think after reading the most recent chapters . . . **muses** There has to be more to it than that, right? RIGHT??? (Anyone who has read it will know what I'm talking about.) Not that the new chaps don't rock my socks totally. I just . . . want more chapters dammit!!

And been exploring what I'm convinced could possibly be the second most evil character of the series -- Schroedinger. He and the Major get along rather well, and he has his own brand of wickedness it seems. I was reading over his Wiki page and, of course, I see quantum physics and intrigue goes through the roof, not that I wasn't interested to begin with, but yah . . . his engineering really intrigues me, and his character along with it. Has no problem with his youthful look (including the Hitler Youth uniform), yet his vocabulary is far too advanced and such. Though in short, when he appeared in chapter 84, just this smirk of puuuuuure evil. **delighted** Dunno if I'd sounded like I was complaining or not, or was surprised, but I'm totally delighted. I thought he was a bad guy before, but something just hit me the other day when I was flipping through volume 7 and then reading the new stuff. He just strikes me as one of those characters that's just evil or a bastard because they are; I love those types. Or maybe like Duzell in a way? Nothing better to do? Though yah, been doing icons of him as well. I need to make an icon post eventually.

As for the other end of the spectrum . . . Ouran Host Club. Lawlz. Seems I'm eclectic in every aspect of life and not just my music. The other night I was reading volume 4, then would stop to work on some Hellsing icons, go back to Ouran, then read a little Hellsing . . . I started on Ouran a long time ago and just now getting back around to it. Been working on catching up and currently on volume 6. I really enjoy the series, very cute. (I'm a Tamaki fan by the way; a narcissistic dork who does have good intentions and a deep moment now and again. He makes me think of Howl from Howl's Moving Castle in a way.)I'm still amused that on the back it says, "A must-have for all Hana-Kimi fans!" I had thought it reminded me of Hana-Kimi before I even saw that actually. Hana-Kimi is love, BTW. Probably my fave shojou story of all time. I would start picking up on the Ouran anime if I could find the CDs I burned the series on. >__> That's right, for those that know, I'm still trying to find the CD book that has all my burned anime in it. **about ready to start tearing the house to pieces.**

On one final note, if you have not seen Burn Notice on USA, WATCH IT!!! ♥ http://www.tv-links.co.uk/listings/1/5763
