Chibi Pi magazine interviews - excerpts
These are some really adorable excerpts of Pi’s magazine interviews from his chibi days, taken from a Japanese blog:
About the time when my mom appeared on 8ji da J, the part when we weren’t really talking, with my mom’s personality, she will probably say, “I won~!” and gesture her victory (lol).*
It was because we actually fought 2-3 days earlier, and didn’t really speak to each other.
I was young and in a phase of being over-sensitive about things.. said simply, it’s rebelliousness? (lol)
But not to the level of the Misawa Home commercials**, not that serious at all~
When our tension is high,
“Are you coming home to eat tonight?”
“Yes I will~” (A/N: he said “iru pyon~” uber cute!)
That kind of feeling.. (lol)
To describe my mom in one sentence, she’s youthful and “a friend-like presence”.
Takizawa-kun even said, “The type of mom like Yamapi’s mom is really good”.
When I was in elementary school, I was happy that my mom was really young, but I admired the “chubby mom” type~
People who feel really mother-like.
Takizawa-kun’s mom was this type… why don’t we switch then? (lol)
How do I say this, because it’s embarrassing, I can’t praise my own mom.. (lol)
But her rice making skills are the best. It comes out a little bit chewy, really delicious.
I was really mischievous when I was young, like when I skipped my abacus class and was caught, I was smacked in the face by my mom ne~
Probably did a lot of troublesome things for my mom… Nn, I’m very grateful to her.
Not just my mom, I’m very thankful to the many people beside me..
First is Takizawa-kun.
There are some things I can’t say to my family, but I can confide in him.
Things that I would be mad about if my family members said so, if Takizawa-kun says it, I would seriously listen ne..
Kind of like an older brother, or a father.. He is probably that kind of a presence.
And also Toma. That was dangerous, I almost forgot…
If I’m in trouble, without thinking, his is the face that I would want to see..
When we’re together I feel relieved.. A really good person.
Also, I’m thankful to the people in kindergarten who bullied me..
Because I was small, I had to do whatever they made me do.. even my dessert got stolen away every day~
Even though I wanted to beat them up, I didn’t have the courage to do so..
But it’s because of that experience that I have a really strong determination and will power now ne.
Even if I get bullied, I won’t be down.
But there were times when I might have taken it out on my mom (lol)..
My advice to people who are being bullied, either way you must maintain a strong will!
Finally, I want to thank all my fans.
At concerts, I can see everyone’s uchiwa clearly from the stage.
Whenever there’s someone holding my uchiwa, I’m super happy ne.
So, the me who is still not mature enough, everyone, yoroshiku yo!
