Fanreport - NEWS LIVE concert (part 1)
As requested, I've started translating some of the Pi-centric concert reports from the NEWS LIVE concerts, to add to the reports already posted to news_jpop. I really liked all the ones I read, because it seemed like Pi had a really great time, and it makes me so happy to see them all interact so happily again, after that long loooooooong drought where we had no NEWS activity.

Today Yamapi had fluorescent bulbs along the sleeves and zipper part of his shirt.
I forgot which song it was that Ryo and Pi sang with their arms around each other’s shoulders, and then Ryo buried his whole head against Pi’s neck. Everyone went kya!!!! And then Pi ran over to Massu and someone else, and sang together when them, and I think he kissed one of them. Then he started making kissy faces at the camera! XDDD
Ahh, I remember! During the KoyaShige segment, they filmed backstage Yamapi. He was wearing a thick white shirt, his face was really small and pretty! First he held up the Toshiba laptop and said that it was super light! Then, he held the two bottles of Kirin teas, and said to the camera, “Dochi ga ii? (Which is better?)”.. The live version is the best! Yamapi is such a great spokesperson, but I want to ask why there was no weider-in jelly lol
During the encore Yamapi was really high, he sang ABO with Massu at the stage to the left of me, and when he got to “Pop na Hip ga Bump”, he ran over smilingly to pat Massu’s butt! >< During the opening (first time they sang ABO), he patted his own butt! Both were so cool!
The last day of the concerts, I had seats right in front of Yamapi. Today, whether it was dance or during the hot air balloons, Yamapi stayed there the longest. Especially during the hot air balloons, his balloon really stayed there for a long time, I was so jealous!
During the MC, they talked about AnJ being released next year. Yamapi said that everyday he exercised for a long time, and made a few small boxing gestures. He said something I didn’t hear, and then he corrected himself saying that he wasn’t asking everyone to copy him, but that he hopes everyone goes to watch it theatres.
I swear I’m not a fan of any pairing other than TomaPi, but today when Yamapi and Ryo-chan were making the ❤ pose, I seriously went kyaaa!!! Apparently that heart was more well completed today than any other time, and they both laughed really cutely ><
I thought of something else cute. Yesterday during the second half, Yamapi lay flat on the stage =v= And then he held up his mic with one hand and waved the other hand like crazy to get everyone excited. When the crowd didn’t scream loudly enough, he was being bratty and refused to get up, kicking his legs around and waving his hands more energetically in the air. XD

Today the Dome was seriously too high! Definitely worth going~ Yamapi was very moe today too~
Moe point 1: Scratching his butt =v=
Today during the opening, as soon as he came out of the balloon, he quietly stuck his hand in his costume and was moving it around.. I thought maybe he was adjusting something, but it really looked like he was just scratching because his butt was itchy XD And then later on when he came down from the balloon, again when he wasn’t singing, he did the same thing! Such a childish thing to do, so moe~
Moe point 2: 3 CMs live version!
During the advertising time, Yamapi the promoter appeared! Today he wore a black vest backstage.. So his beautiful collarbone and the muscles of his arms almost blinded me~ First he picked up the Toshiba and said that he had been online to check everyone’s opinions, he told Shige it would be better to cut his hair, and then he said the lines from his CMs, the lightest laptop in the world. Then he put down the laptop and picked up two bottles of kirin namacha with one hand, and looked straight into the camera and said earnestly, douche ga ii? KYA!!!!! And the whole dome went crazy!
And then, I thought there wouldn’t be a live version of Weider-in, but Yamapi surprised us! During the encore, Yamapi ran on stage very energetically. First he made faces at the cameras while singing, then he suddenly took out a bag of Weider-in jelly and shoot it at the camera~ Then he screwed open the lid like in the commercial, and drank it with a side view of his face for the camera! The members around him did the same pose, it was extremely high~ I’m extremely satisfied having the chance to see the live version of this!
Moe point 3: Shaking his head, shaking his butt~
Today Yamapi was a lot more high than on the first day. I think it was from the song “Live”, he began shaking his little head around when he ran around the concert hall, so his hair got flipped and flipped, and he skipped around and waved his hands~ And then, after he was done running around and was heading back to the main stage for his solo, he passed it! When he realized he had to turn around and walk back speedily, LOL at the confused child XD
Moe point 4: Being moe and acting spoiled~
Still during the encore, he basically lay on his side on the small stage in front of us, one hand holding up his head, the other hand waving his mic madly, getting everyone excited. His expression was very cute too, biting his lower lip a bit like he was exerting himself lol~ And he was kicking his legs, and raising and lowering them, such a cute kid!
Today during the encore, during ABO Yamapi didn’t go to pat Massu’s butt. Instead, he pointed his own butt to the camera like he was waiting for Massu to come pat it, LOL! Offering up his butt was seriously too cute! And then he picked up Tegoshi princess style, forgot if he spun a circle or walked a bit, anyways all the women screamed like crazy!
And then, I thought of another one. Today Yamapi still wore the sunglasses during his solo, but different from the first day was that after he put on the sunglasses, he put the mic to his mouth and said in a low voice, “Let’s dance”, like how he said “Let’s Party” for Mola, even lower and softer. Hearing that voice live was such a pleasant surprise, playing it cool is the right of handsome boys!
Oh, fanservice from the top of the dome~ Today when Yamapi’s balloon flew over, he made a “kon kon” pose! As soon as I saw that I froze for a second, and then screamed like crazy! AHHHHH! Yamapi, such great fanservice!
What else? During MC, Shige said that recently his parents have been calling him Shige-chan, and then there was some discussion about whether or not they get called -chan. When it was Yamapi’s turn, he said, “Yeah, oniichan~”. That soft nasally voice saying oniichan is just beyond adorable~
Part of the MC~ Today they were making fun of Massu during the opening MC, and they asked what Pi thought of Massu. Pi said, “Suki desu (I like him).” And then he talked about how the atmosphere becomes different when Massu is there. Massu had a surprised and happy and shy expression, and was like, “Really?” And Pi said it’s true, and so on. XD
Because I had a good view today, I saw all of Pi’s little gestures clearly! Today when he was standing in the hot air balloon he didn’t behave himself, and when he was high or was listening to someone else sing, he kept kicking the bottom of the balloon with one foot and shook it around. Even though I knew he had was strapped in safely, it was still scary! But he seemed to be really enjoying himself, live is still the best!

I’m back from seeing the concert. The last bit I was beyond high! Tuxedo mask Pi was so awesome!
Today during the third encore, it was such a surprise when Yamapi came out! He actually cosplayed as Tuxedo mask! He was wearing a sleeveless black vest on the inside, and had a big cape that was red on the inside and black on the outside (kinda like what Akira had in the episode he was a vampire). He had a mask on his face, and a black top hat! Then Tegoshi came out in the girl outfit, and the two of them were really high together, holding hands and skipping around the dome, making the “bang” pose at fans and so on~ When they got back to the main stage, Ryo attacked Tegoshi’s chest! And then Yamapi who had already taken off his cape just stood in his tanktop and watched from the side, laughing happily. Then later on he realized he was supposed to protect the “girl”, and defeated Ryo to protect Tegoshi, lol
Ah, something else funny. When Yamapi finishes his solo he always asks everyone to turn the hand lights off. At that point, he was still wearing the fluorescent bulbs on his clothes, and he said that he was still shiny and so on, and he made the lights go on and off a few times, played very happily that way. Me and the girl I came with laughed really hard, such a silly kids XDD
Today there was no itme for the CM, the camera went backstage to Pi, Ryo, Massuda and Tegoshi, the four of them bowed to express their thanks to the fans who came to the live, very touching~
Today during the Encore Yamapi made me crazy! He ran to wave and shake hands with the fans in the front, and then he suddenly went over and took a pair of big heart shaped glasses from the fan! He wore it facing the camera, and made funny faces! Such lucky fans!
There was this song where Yamapi and Shige would hug, but today Yamapi pretended not to see him and walked right past him! Shige laughed and pulled him back, and then Pi had a expression that said, “success!”, and hugged Shige. XD During the opening there was RyoPi and Massu with their arms around each other. Even when it was time for Pi to go, Ryo still held onto his shoulders, really hilarious XDDD
