Their harsh panting were the only sounds left in the room.
Mao gave a swallow and continued to catch her breath. Her gaze locked absently on their hands still clutched tightly together. Ears pounding, body throbbing, and the faint lust still coursing through her were not allowing her wits to come back just yet. A drop of sweat rolled down her cheek and ended on the sheets.
His harsh breath was right by her ear. His forehead pressed against her temple. His chest on her back; their sweat mingling together. She could still feel him trembling; still trying to calm his body down. He was still inside her, unwilling to move just yet.
Skin against skin.
It was the language they each knows best. And when they found each other, the intensity between them was unlike any they've experienced.
It was addicting.
It was exhilarating.
