Fan reports: Pi is gentle, kind, and goes PP
This blogger (to be known as Blogger N) is an 'extra' for Code Blue Season 2. Whenever he's on the set, he updates regularly, giving us behind-the-scenes insights. Blogger N has only complimentary things to say about the cast and staff. Some of these fan reports are presented in an informal, summary-style format and are not word-for-word/line-by-line translations. But I stand behind my translator(s) and believe the main ideas and context have not been significantly altered from the original text.

About the filming content,
I'm a severely wounded person who fell from the 4th floor of a building.
Hirata Naoki, around 40 years old.
During the filming, because I was fixed on the stretcher for almost the whole time,
I wasn't able to see them film the scenery.
During the waiting period, something happened to the lower abdomen.
Yamashita-san, Katsumura-san, Ryo-san, Aragki-san, Higa-san, everyone was alert around the stretcher.
They said, "That! This!".
After finishing the first half part, they fixed the futon so that I didn't feel cold.
And Yamashita-san put his jacket on me too!
Wahhh! He was very polite!!
Higa-san apologized to me because I had to stay down the whole time.
I guess Toda-san and Asari-san were filming with a different patient.
All the main cast had to move to the population emergency-aid transport.
So I finished today's filming
Next time I'll film at the bay coast studio (Wangan Studios/Fuji TV).

Tomorrow is an important filming day
It's only one scene but from the dry opening,
it's a 6 1/2 hour filming schedule
I wonder if I should take a taxi (home)
because filming medical care scenes takes up a lot of time.
As a patient, I only sleep.
This is the last* for Code Blue so I'll try to do my best.
Tomorrow I'll give it my all.
I'm going off to Wangan Studios!
*T/N: This scene is part of the last episode (finale) for CB's drama. Filming is often done out of sequence.

We started rehearsals at 3:30pm,
but we still haven't started filming. (he updated his blog at 4:25PM)
However greetings have been said.
Today Yamashita-san appears to be full of energy!
Filming has started since morning.
To handle such a long period of filming, they are really amazing.
There's still a long way to go!

(Note: And this is probably why on December 27th, Pi updated his nikki at 1:15PM and not the usual 8PM. He probably got energized by listening to his new music and eating curry. Nikki #2269)

Today, other than Pilot Terajima Susumu,
the CAST gathered to celebrate Grandpa Chief's birthday. (which was on the day before)
After rehearsals today, we began celebrations,
with the giving of flowers and cake. At the scene was main lead YamaPi, 椎名桑 (?), Aragaki Yui, Toda Erika, Higa Manami, Asari Yosuke, Ryo and Katsumura Masanobu.

(Blogger N wrote about his observations during filming while he was resting, and 2 other patients/actors were filming.)
About yesterday's filming,
there were 2 patients on the scene.
Gakki and Higa would initiate small talks with the 'patient/actor',
and later helped him remove some sort of medical equipment.
They even asked if he needed water.
During another scene, the actor had to keep his mouth open the whole time.
His throat must have become dry,
and he tried to restrain himself from coughing,
which caused him to sweat.
P and Gakki noticed the situation and they helped him remove the equipment.
P even fanned the actor, while Gakki brought water.
These are things that the staff should be doing,
but they helped without any expressions of displeasure.
Toda helped as well.
Even though she doesn't have scenes interacting with the actor, as she is not in charge of that patient,
whenever he looked uncomfortable, Toda would quickly ask if he was alright.
This kind and gentle cast...
everybody HAS to watch CODE BLUE 2 THE SECOND SEASON!

Tomorrow is my last day as an extra for this year
Will be going to a top secret shooting
(Note: "top secret" shooting?? Wonder what he's talking about?? We'll have to read what Pi writes in his 12.29 entry. Update: Pi's 12.29 nikki #2271 did not reveal anything about a top secret filming. He complimented his staff and said he listened to MJ.)
