Buzzer Beat "all up"!
2009.09.18 (Fri.) 20:06

Buzzer Beat safely met it's "all up" last night!
Somehow this drama's run went by in the blink of an eye.

It happened to be my first love story,
so the number of scenes I had to digest during a day's filming were many,
and it could not be helped that various scenes were filmed out of order,
which didn't make it easy to grasp the feel of my role,
nor was I able to express it satisfactorily sometimes,
but whenever that happened the staff, with the directors first of all,
gave me advice like, "It's this kind of scene, so how about you try it in this way?",
so I was able to go ahead with filming without any worries about my role or the work at all.

I'm grateful from the bottom of my heart that creating this work was a joy till the end thanks to the guidance of people such as these.
That Yamashita-kun, my old and tried friend since university, was my companion was also truly a relief.
Since we both held the strong desire to turn this work into something great,
we wanted to make a better show of ourselves than necessary this time,
so we were compelled to cast aside our hangups, prides and shames to do so,
and to make this work even better we talked about how to do things whenever we had the time...
I think that us being like that must surely be why we could resolutely collide
together in our acting with a strange lack of concern or restraint.

The directors, scriptwriter, producer, staff and cast all loved this work called Buzzer Beat,
so it was a great pleasure to create it together,
and I'm proud to have been able to participate as one of them.

I've made the best memories this summer.
Thank you all for a fantastic summer, everyone!

All that remains is to promote the last episode on the appointed day,
but I'm already in preparation for my next work.
For my next role I've had my forelock and grown-out hair ends cut today.
The start of filming is in a few days!
The next work is totally different from Buzzer Beat again.
Having only ended filming that one yesterday it still reverberates within me,
but want to quickly set my mood to deal with the next work!

The picture is with Uchiyama Fumi (Blog, Music group),
who taught me the violin all this time.
I haven't touched a violin for a while now already...
Yeah, Buzzer Beat was fun indeed!
Farewell, Riko-chan!
