BB captures the attention of American basketballers!!
Here at yamapi-blue, we haven't stopped beaming from ear to ear after receiving these links from one of our readers (thank you, vtsoccargrl)! Yamapi, the cast, and the drama BUZZER BEAT are receiving international recognition beyond what we imagined (for this drama...lol).
An article, "I Have a New Favorite TV Show" appeared on slamonline.com, which seems to be a forum/news source for American college and professional basketball. Buzzer Beat has a following!! Read one review, "Drama in my Basketball: Buzzer Beat" who found the drama both cheesy and charming at the same time. He even commented that he's seen Pi, Keiko, and Aibu in other dramas and thought they were "good actors"...LOL!! This may not be a cinematic masterpiece, but for a low-budget summer drama, it's amazing it captured the attention of male basketballers half way around the world!!
Vitsoccagrl tells us: "They advertised the first blog 5 times in a row on twitter. The slamonline.com article is the biggest one though because it's on the home page! It's such a big deal." So far, there are 63 responses to this article and here are some of the responses:

Remo Willims: I literally JUST got back from Japan a little over 24 hours ago. they had ads/pictures of these dudes EVERYWHERE!! I cant read kanji but figured it was a show...didn't figure it would be THIS awesome.
