I seriously have the urge to upload Byakkotai... ^^'
Finished part 2, subbed by Love Song.
No spoilers under cut, so no worries.
That's it, I'm doing this from now on with SP (2-part) doramas.
Watch the first part raw, save the 2nd part for subs. Ah, it was so much better seeing it like this. (laugh)
'Cause then I already got the grip of what will happen in the 1st part.
- I've always wanted to try this . I think it's one of the most beautiful sight na~ (they're lanterns in the water BTW)
- KUMAAA . Awww important role he plays naa~ Ahh so adorable!
- I thought this was very significant . Definitely like the saying "river of blood" no?
- OF ALL THINGS THEY DECIDED TO VIEW UPCLOSE AT THE DAMN CAM, WHY DID THEY HAVE TO CHOOSE A SPIDER!? *Leelee throws major bricks*
I would cap but I literally screamed when that thing showed up on my screen. KOWAI YO~ wasn't expecting it at all. I was watching it on full screen too, so imagine how huge that thing was $*&#*&$@*&Q#$
- Amazing instrumentals/bg music (DL). (might sound a little weird at 4s-10s 'cause I tried removing the woman's voice ^^;) I loved it. Darnit, do they release OSTs for SP doramas? (I'm still ticked over no Kurosagi OST) D: because this was one of the bg music that I absolutely loved.
. . . I'll comment on Pipi's acting another time. Lol
There were quite a lot of scenes that made me cry .
-------------SPOILERS(+IMAGES)::HIGHLIGHT FOR TEXT-------------
- One of the parts was when Gisaburou & the other 18 Byakkotai warriors committed suicide. It was sad to see, & what made me tear up more badly was Mineji & Matahachi's dialogue right after that. That was almost too heartbreaking.
- Mineji almost dying. Well, duh, can't blame me for being biased towards Pipi. (laugh)
- I can't remember which part, but there were a few times with Mineji's mom /with him that got me all teary-eyed.
- Death of his mother. Honestly, this death was too painfully beautiful. Really got me crying, mostly since I can tell those were real tears from Pipi. <33
- This was one of the most cutest & touching part. You know how much I love Pipi with kids. Her innocence was enough to shed my tears.
Her voice was too adorable that it was heartbreaking to watch. Incredibly touching, and too adorable & innocent. Killed me.

My prayers goes out to the people who are going through some earthquakes in Japan right now. I hope everyone will be safe and things will get better soon. Please pray for them, too.
