(no subject)
We took the car to the mechanic. That went off without a hitch.
The only problem was, we originally went at 10:30, but the head mechanic, Al, who knew Nate and his father and the arrangement, wasn't there... so we went back home for an hour, got Nate's mom to agree to follow us, so we didn't have to sit there for an hour and a half and wait. So, we dropped the car and the keys off, then went to go get the support check from Sal's house, and puttered back to the house to get Pat's phone, which she was worried about the dog chewing to hell.
AND WE WERE HUNGRY. HUUUUUNGRY TO DEATH.
So, Pat drove around and we tried to decide where to go for food, but we were drawing a blank until Nate said, "Anywhere is good. Even Dave's Diner is fine with me." and so Pat was like, "OMG, DAVE'S. I FORGOT THAT EVEN EXISTED. WONDERFUL, LET'S GO THERE." and we did.
So Nate and I had our usual corned beef reubens and Pat had some other kinda sammich. We all had 'soup' before hand, although Nate's was chili, instead of clam chowder like me and Pat's.
After a while, we got a call on the cellphone saying the car was done, and we finished and left to pick it up.
When I saw the car again, I NOTICED THEY'D PUT AIR IN THE TIRES. THE FRONT TIRES. I KNEW THEY NEEDED AIR. SAL SAID, "NO, THEY DON'T NEED AIR, THEY'RE FINE. DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT." HAH. :|
I know what tires that are low look like. >:(
Anyhow, I drove back with Nate so he could get his stuff for class and he left. I played RO for a bit and took a long nap.
And then, when Nate got back home, I tried to pay the phone bill because it was due November 14th, and the ebill view thing is messing up because it's saying I didn't pay the 33.90 for last month, when I did. I have the proof. My payment history says so and I got the direct debit confirmation email still. I'll call Verizon tomorrow about it to make sure everything is ok as far as that goes.
Tomorrow, being Veteran's Day, Nate has no classes.
My period is being a lazy turd. It was supposed to happen the last week of October, but it's only starting to bother me NOW. Stupid period. >:( I think it's the weather changing. It's getting fucking frigid and my uterus says, "FUCK THAT, IT'S COLD."
I downloaded the newest Furcadia update and it looks so fucking retarded now. Even more than ever before. Christine, Argent and I were on it last night and it was the most amusement I've ever had with Furc. Oh, man... it's so gay.
