So got up at 5.30am and got back at 8.30pm. Long day.

Interview seemed to go well, they also had some multi choice tests which were a breeze. Company seem interesting enough. All seemed good!

Note: "seemed". Got a call this morning saying "no". Great.

I put it down to not being a lorry engine enthusiast. Or being white. Two Iranians, two Indians, an African and Dave. Dave, admittedly, was also white and English however he'd worked in Mclaren, which gave him an advantage over 2 years of bed engineering.

Apparently my interview answers were "vauge", which I guess is fair enough as I know next to nothing about engines, but surely the specific knowlege is something you learn when you start there?

Kinda annoyed though, looked like a good opportunity for experiance.

The job agency is being an arse though. I've explained I don't want to be in manufacturing despite (due to?) my experiance but they've basically said I don't have much of a choice. My 2 years experiance has basically priced me out of any position not specifically looking for a manufacturing engineer.

Well, fuck it, they weren't offering enough money anyway and I've got another interview on Tuesday, might go better.
