i've been spending the last week studying for my psych exam, blah. i feel really braindead. my "studying" involved typing up my lecture notes, which were cross-checked with the lecture overheads the lecturers provided (they are saints! SAINTS I SAY!) and the tutorial material. for 13 weeks of classes (3 a week), mind you. ahahahahaha. i also did ( Read more... )

your room & the outside area around you?? and you, they can be artsy faceless shots if you dont feel like getting dolled up for self portraits, but youre thin and i like looking at thin people - take some inspiring photos for me, backbone and all??

How interesting that you take notes on LJ! I imagine the tags would be useful in looking things up, but I'm not sure how well I'd fare having to study via the computer screen all thee time. ._.

Yeah, it's actually pretty cool. :D I study by writing out things numerous times, since it helps to sink in more. So I write out notes during the lecture, then read over them, then type them up onto LJ, then read over them again & then read whatever else we're given (for example, for psychology we're given a book of mind-maps of the subjects, which is super helpful). It really does pay to study in different situations, y'know? I can visualise information, sometimes, when I remember how I typed it &what I tagged it as. XD;

I understand that studying method well. I'm one of those people who needs to write out notes while studying (regardless whether I already have notes from lectures or not), because it really makes a different in how much I remember. It's hilarious how you can visualize information and remember how you typed it or what you tagged it as! xD But hey, whatever works, I say. :D
