still the celebration haunts
so first day of semester of uni for this year was pretty good, i am less terrified about statistics&psychology than i thought i would be. that's mostly because the lecturer is easy to understand and pretty funny, even if she does use overheads and not powerpoint presentations (because, she says, she "doesn't want Bill Gates to rule the world" ahahwhat). i've yet to go to my paganism&new age lecture but since, hello the content, i'm sure it'll be just as interesting as my other classes. :3 so i am a happyducky, even if i have a 4hr break and have to get there for 9am 2 days a week. LOOK AT THIS, ENJOYING UNI. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT.
okay now to the main point of this post cus i'm sure you're all sick of hearing about me &higher education:
SHOULD I GET AN IPOD/MP3 PLAYER?
now this is a pretty important question to ask, because i have previously held off on buying one for a very long time now. i haven't bought one mainly because i thought it would be a waste of money and i don't have money to throw around like that. now i know you can get mp3 players pretty cheap, but because it is me &i make things difficult for myself, i wouldn't be able to decide just WHAT music to put on it, so i'd want to put all of my music on it. which is ~13GB, so y'know, i'd probably buy a 20GB iPod or whatev. it doesn't need to have videos or pictures or anything, i just want music. i only need the basics for things. (i have a mobile phone that is from the dark ages; it doesn't have a camera/can't receive pics, no internet etc -- so you see what i mean.)
anyway i want to buy one because i have long breaks between classes (2hrs, 4hrs, etc) and i feel like i'd go insane studying nonstop for them. and if i don't study there is literally nothing for me to do so yeah.
so what do you guys think?
- is it worth it? (moneywise)
- if you think it is, should i really get a 20GB one? or something smaller?
- i've heard shit things about iPods, so if you don't rec that what mp3 player would you rec?
