Community revamp!
We are proud to present to you the new yamaharu layout, designed by the lovely mikarichan! Thanks so much! Additional expressions of gratitude can be made here at this post or, better yet, you can contact her to personally thank her! She did a fine job, as you can see. :)
Also, we have 62 members now! Well, give or take a few inactive journals. But the point is that we have made it this far despite overwhelming opposition and popularity of other pairings. It may not seem like much to some people, but to xxkof_feexx and I, it means a lot. :)
xxkof_feexx and I were talking about when the love for Yamamoto/Haru all began. In December 2007, xxkof_feexx posted her fan fic, Rainwater, the first known fic depicting Yamamoto/Haru. Following that, she soon posted several more fics. From there, a few people, including myself, took the cue to contribute our own fics. And the rest is history! At FanFiction.Net, the Spring Rain archive currently holds fifty-two fan fics, and there may be more we might have missed.
The growth of YamaHaru's popularity - even for the mere recognition of them - was a struggle in the midst of more popular pairings. But still we marched on, believing in the compatibility of the pairing; they fit together perfectly, like flowers growing and thriving under the spring rain.
So, here's to another year of yamaharu!
