You know when you visit a restaurant too often when...

...the staff begin to know your preferences.

There's an excellent sushi restaurant near my apartment building. I've gone a few times since moving here, although I try to limit myself to once a month because their dishes are slightly pricier than your average sushi joint. When I first moved here, I didn't know anyone so if I went out to eat, I'd sit alone.

Even since I've met friends, for some reason, if I end up at that restaurant again, I'm alone (usually due to my friends having different schedules and whatnot).

I walked into said restaurant again earlier today for dinner. I told the host/waitress, "Just a table for one. It's just me." And the waitress replied, as if realizing something, "...Oh yeah! This way, please."

Clearly they're beginning to recognize me...
